Bethany Waggoner is CORE’s Director of Global Program Development, leading efforts to design and resource programming that empowers communities in and beyond crisis to respond to the devastating impacts of climate change, inequality in health access, and humanitarian emergencies. With a decade of experience in the international development sector working in Latin America and the Middle East, Bethany brings a background in business development, program management, and reporting to inform CORE’s program design and resource mobilization strategies for country programs in Sudan, Ukraine, Haiti, and the United States. Bethany has a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University in The City of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Winthrop University.
