CORE is a global humanitarian organization with a footprint on five continents, responding to natural disasters, conflict, food insecurity, and public health emergencies. Over the next three years, we are committed to deploying to a dozen crises annually across at least six U.S. states and eight countries globally.

Pays for a box of Naloxone that can reverse an overdose. CORE’s North Carolina team is working to reduce the crippling number of opioid-related overdoses in their communities.

Provides fuel for a vulnerable household near the frontlines in Ukraine. As winter approaches, families on the frontlines urgently need fuel resources to heat their homes, cook hot food, and access hot water.

Covers a year of tuition for a student at CORE’s School of Hope & Sunshine in Haiti. Your gift provides everything a student will need for the entire year: uniforms, books, school supplies, lunches, and even instruments for our renowned music program.

Creates safe spaces for women and children in war-torn Sudan. CORE works with local partners to provide mothers and children with flexible cash assistance to purchase food and medicine, and to ensure access to safe spaces with psychosocial support.

Repairs a damaged home for a family struggling to recover after a hurricane. We’re leading permanent roof repair, mold suppression, floodwater remediation, and other rebuilding efforts in vulnerable communities, and bridging the FEMA funding gap for low-income and uninsured families.

Meet Lourdes-Mia
Lourdes-Mia started attending the Plezi Mizik program in 2019, but her love of music began even younger, inspired by her father who played guitar and sang. She is a singer at heart who looks up to her favorite artists, Haitian star Emeline Michel and Adele. Lourdes-Mia’s voice is powerful, and she shines when she performs alongside other students at the program’s annual concerts.

Meet Alla
CORE repaired the water system in Zelenyi Hai, a remote village near Mykolaiv whose residents suffered considerably in the early months of the war.
Through three years of instability, Alla and her husband have lived through a damaged home, power outages and intermittent water access. Thanks to CORE's donors, they can now reliably source clean water to wash clothes and dishes, cook food, and water their garden.

Meet Reverend Arnold
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Reverend Arnold McCoggle and his wife returned home to find their trailer in ruins. They are now confined to living only in the front half of their home. CORE provided tarp coverage and cleared away the wreckage, but significant challenges remain. As Rev. McCoggle waits for FEMA assistance, he hopes to raise awareness about the pain these storms inflict – and the crucial role that organizations like CORE play in the recovery process.
