Rebuilding Lives After Disaster.

Bridging the Hurricane Helene Resource Gaps

After Hurricane Helene, the road to recovery will be long and arduous for many people in Georgia and North Carolina – especially those who are uninsured, low-income, and living in unstable homes.

CORE has teams on the ground, providing essential resources to those who need them most. Your support brings immediate aid to people in need, filling the funding gaps for those who can’t afford to wait on bureaucracy.

Bring Hope This Giving Season

CORE has deep roots in Georgia and North Carolina. We’ve been here since before Helene, responding to previous disasters and building out public health programs that have served more than 1 million people. And we’ll be here long after the debris is cleared, supporting the community’s changing needs. Our long-term recovery interventions include:

  • Ensuring Access to Healthcare: Many have lost access to vital health services. We’re working tirelessly to ensure families receive the medical care they need and deserve.
  • Rebuilding Homes and Communities: We’re helping people rebuild their homes and lives, focusing on permanent roof repair, mold suppression, and floodwater remediation.
  • Long-Term Recovery: Our commitment goes beyond immediate relief. We’re investing in long-term recovery programs that address the ongoing needs of these communities.
