Bring Hope This Giving Season
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Reverend Arnold McCoggle and his wife returned home to find a tree had crashed through their bedroom, leaving their trailer in ruins. With his wife managing a chronic health condition, the couple is now confined to living in the front half of their home, relying on a temporary path to reach their bathroom. CORE team members tarped part of his home and removed fallen debris and insulation to make things a bit more livable. But there is still a tremendous amount of work to be done, both for them, and across the region.
This holiday season, so many people like the McCoggles aren’t dreaming of presents under the tree, or a festive meal on the table – but simply a safe and solid roof over their heads. Time is running out to make that dream a reality…

“”I’m so thankful that CORE came out and cleaned up everything, so that I could live a little more confortably in the trailer.”
